Round gourds or Tinda, as the name suggests, are globular in shape and sometimes oval. it is also known as Indian squash or Indian baby pumpkin. They have a pale green to light yellow or whitish skin while immature gourds have a darker green complexion. The flesh is tender and crisp. About the taste, the round gourd is a blend of mild and slightly sweet flavor.
