Dalma is a dish which every Odia will swear by!
A dal cooked with lots of healthy veggies, very flavourful and filling. Bring the favour of Odisha into your home with this dish!

Ingredients: Serves 4
- 1/2 cup Moong Dal 
- 1/2 cup Toor Dal 
- 1 Raw banana 
- 1 Raddish 
- 2 Tomatoes 
- 1 Drumsticks 
- 2 Brinjal 
- 1 Carrot 
- 4 Beans 
- 3 Green Chillies 
- 4 Dried red chillies 
- 1 tbsp Panchphoran 
- 2 tbsp Ghee 
- 1 tsp Turmeric 
Salt as per taste
- 1 tbsp Dalma masala 
Coriander leaves

How to prepare the Dalma:
1. In a pressure cook, add dal and Pressure cook for 2 whistles on medium flame
2. Add the veggies in the dal and cook for one more whistle
3. Add the dalma masala and cook for a minute
4. In a pan heat some ghee and add panchphoran, dried red chillies and red chilli powder, saute for a minute, add this tadka to the dal

Serve it hot!
