Chocolate Mango Mousse

Add an oomph of Oreo cookies or whipped cream and you get a perfect companion for an after-lunch or dinner dessert served sweet and cold.

Ingredients:
- 1 large and ripe mango (peeled and diced)
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 8 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate (chopped)
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ cup water
- ¼ cup of granulated sugar
- Whipped cream and Oreo cookies for garnish (optional)

How To Prepare Chocolate Mango Mousse?
- Cut, peel, and puree mangoes in a blender or food processor.
- Whip heavy cream until it forms stiff peaks in a large mixing bowl.
- Melt chocolate pieces in a heatproof bowl over simmering water on a stove, stirring occasionally.
- Cook sugar and water in a small saucepan until dissolved and thickened, then let it cool slightly.
- Mix the pureed mango and cooled sugar syrup in a separate bowl.
- Add melted chocolate and mix well.
- Stir in whipped cream until well combined.
- Divide the mousse mixture into serving dishes and refrigerate for two hours.
- Top with whipped cream or crushed Oreo cookies before serving.
