If you love chips and dips but hate putting on weight, try this vibrant hummus recipe and make snacking healthier.

Cook time: 10 minutes | Serves 8


Ingredients:
➤ 65 gms Red Bell Pepper
➤ 300 gms Boiled Chickpeas 
➤ 22 gms Tahini Paste
➤ 170 ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil
➤ 1 tbsp. Lemon Juice
➤ 1 to 2 tsp. Crushed Garlic
➤ 1/2 tsp. Paprika
➤ 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
➤ 1 tsp. Cumin
➤ Salt (to taste)

Preparation:
➤ Wash, soak, boil, and drain your chickpeas with a pinch of salt and cumin. 
➤ Remove the chickpea peels if you like your hummus creamy. 
➤ Roast your bell peppers over a high flame or in the oven. 
➤ Once the peppers have charred evenly, remove the skin and deseed the peppers. 
➤ Crush the garlic. 
➤ Squeeze the juice out of your lemon.
 
To make the Hummus:
➤ Add all the ingredients to a food processor, minus the olive oil & blitz it for 30 seconds.
Pour in the olive oil slowly while blitzing the hummus for another 30 seconds or till they all come together.
➤ Check for seasoning and adjust with warm water if required.
➤ Let it sit in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. 


To serve:
➤ Make swirls with the back of a spoon & pour some olive oil on top. 
➤ Sprinkle some spices on top & serve with veggie sticks and warm pita bread.
