- Minced Garlic
- Chopped Ginger
- Chopped Green Chilli
- Black Pepper add the tangy flavor to the dish
- Coriander Leaves to add garnishing
- Chopped Onion or Spring Onion (white portion)
- Soya Sauce
- All Purpose Flour
- 2 tsp Rice Flour
- Corn Flour
- Water
How to make?
- Boil 5 to 6 cups of water.
- Once it boils, add corn kernels, enough salt as required, and let it boil for 5 to 6 mins.
- Once the kernels are all boiled, remove them and drain the excess water. Keep aside.
- Take a mixing bowl, add one tsp of all-purpose flour such as maida..
- Add salt as much as you like, 1/4 tsp pepper powder, and spread it evenly. Add all the corn flour and rice flour you have and mix it well using a spatula. Corn kernels should now be coated with flour completely.
- Take a broad pan, light up the flame, and add the kernels. Cover the pan with a lid till 3/4th so that there’s enough space for steam to get out. Do not stir it.
- Once the spluttering decreases, stir it once.
- Lower the flame while frying the kernels until they turn golden in color.
- Finally, take them out of the frying pan and put them on paper towels to drain them. Keep it aside
- Take a pan, add the flame, and pour one tsp of oil.
- Add a mixture of chopped green chilli, ginger, and garlic and fry it well until they are all fragrant.
- Add some chopped onion and turn the flame high until the mixture softens.
- Once it gets softer, reduce the flame and add soya sauce, black pepper, salt, tomato chilli sauce, and red chilli powder and mix it well to prepare the chutney.
- Finally, add the fried corn to the chutney, sprinkle some coriander leaves, and mix it well.
